January 2024 Box
Stacy Willingham
Push
Our January featured author, Stacy Willingham, is a success story in persistence. On her way to an award-winning New York Times bestselling debut, she received 115 rejections. 115! That's a lot of "no". But she didn't let that stop her. She pushed. And when her first novel, A Flicker in the Dark, hit in 2022 it was a smash success. She's a reminder that it's not all sunshine and lollipops for authors following their publishing dreams. In this month's box, we've included the recently published paperback release of All the Dangerous Things - another NYT bestseller. It's a fantastic thrill ride that we're sure you'll enjoy. Stacy was kind enough to sit with us and share her story in this month's writing passport. She was also kind enough to share an annotated view of her query letter in another double-decker PPIL. And, as always, some fantastic writerly gifts, including a Scribbler-exclusive notebook - fun stuff!
